Here are some samples where the bride and groom had 2 different events, both a traditional hindu wedding and a western style wedding! Both ceremonies were beautiful and lovely and it was great to see such differences and similarities. They are after all a celebration of the love of 2 people.

This wedding was shot in Banff, Alberta. I like the couple’s choice of the Canadian rocky mountains which show how personal the purposes might be. I also like how this wedding is different from the rest of the formal weddings with the bride in a red dress instead of a white one. Surrounded by nature, and in different stages of the day, this couple were able to celebrate their special moments together.

Here is a few shots from a wedding I shot last year, we had perfect weather and some great locations to shoot. I chose to shoot about half the creative images (non family portraits) with a distortion lens to give it a dreamy fairly tale look. I love this effect and if used properly can give you a amazing look for your wedding images.

Welcome to “A Wedding Moment”

In this first post, here are some samples from a wedding that I shot almost 20 years ago!
Back when we were shooting film. Ahh the good old days… We now shoot with high end Nikon digital still cameras as well as Sony And Panasonic video cameras. How the times have changed, yet the basics are the same. Good lighting, Good composition and technique are always in style, no matter what the camera is.
